Mobile Today recently hosted the Mobile Industry Awards to honour the most influential people in key areas of the UK mobile industry. Rob Keve, CEO of Fizzback™, joined Lord Stephen Carter (Minister for Communications), Andrew Harrison (Carphone Warehouse UK, CEO), Mark Mitchinson (Samsung UK, VP of Mobile) and Ronan Dunne (O2 UK, CEO) in the shortlist of the five most influential individuals in the industry.

This accolade for Fizzback’s chief is testament to the company’s impact on the industry through solutions that are steadily changing traditional customer interaction paradigm to one were all front-line employees are accountable for long-term customer satisfaction.

“Our nomination shows the tremendous impact Fizzback’s innovative solution has had on driving service and engaging customers in the telecom sector. We are thrilled to be driving a service culture in the industry.” said Keve.

Fizzback’s clients also had a night of rewards. Andrew Harrison from Carphone Warehouse was named Person of the Year and also collected the Retailer of the Year Award on behalf of the company. Carphone’s awards were not the only successes for Fizzback on the night as all three Shop Idol contenders were from Fizzback’s client roster: Mark Kearns of T-Mobile won ahead of Phones 4u’s Sam Wheeler and Jaymie Brook of T-Mobile.

Rob Keve, enthused: “I’d like to think that it’s no coincidence that all 3 Shop Idol finalists are Fizzback users too! To see Carphone Warehouse, T-Mobile and Phones 4u cited as examples of matching superior sales with great customer service is especially pleasing and a tremendous validation for the impact of Fizzback.”
